It sounds like a great giveaway and such a wonderful thing for you to do on your birthday. Wow, 30, I can't believe I was ever there. Time has passed so quickly. I'm wondering if my good deed has to be something recent. I've done several good deeds, but there has been one on my mind lately, one that happened several years ago.
I was a case manager in a home care agency and one of my clients was a woman with an Irish lilt. She kept asking me to visit, and I kept putting her off; then, one day, feeling bad, I agreed. She was the sweetest little old lady. And as I was leaving, she said, "I'm going to put this one in my book. This is the day you came to visit. You've made an old lady very happy." A week later, she died. I'm so thankful that I gave her that little bit of happiness and wished I had done it sooner.
