Kindle vs. Nook Color

Okay readers, I need your help. Do you have a Kindle or a Nook Color? I know all the differences between them, and I'm honestly leaning more towards the Nook Color. But I want to know what you think.

I have a Kindle, and I love it. I don't know much about the Nook, but one day I was sitting next to a man on the train who had one...and it was glaring in the sunlight. I think that's the word I am trying to find. It was shiny and appeared to me much harder to read in sunlight than the Kindle which remains totally readable in the harshest light. I also find the Kindle more compact. To me, the Nook is bulky. Of course, this all may be because I am a Kindle owner that I am prejudiced, but I don't think I would want a Nook.

The new NOOK has fixed some of the glare problem, but Kindle still has more books. And oh my! the freebies in Kindle are awesome. If you have a lot of friends who own NOOKS (and are willing to share books) then you might want it.

But I'll not change my Kindle for nothing! I Love it!

I just got a Nook Color Saturday and honestly I am pretty impressed with it. The thing with Kindles or other e-readers is I like to read in bed. I love the fact that the Nook Color display is LCD so I can read without a light attachment. Plus surfing the web is pretty nice on it as well. Both have their own pros and cons, but I really enjoyed playing sudoku, surfing the web, and then reading a few chapters of my book while listening to Pandora in the background.

I have a Nook but not the color version. I feel like.. I wouldn't read a magazine or children's book on it.. so why bother? I do love my Nook and I don't care what ANYBODY says.. the Kindle screen IS different. I get a migraine looking at the Kindle, but not the Nook. I don't know why, but that obviously was my deciding factor. And I don't know about Kindle, but you can get books through (most) libraries with a Nook. :)
