Weekly Obsessions: RuPaul's Drag Race

Maybe not a weekly obsession. More of an ongoing and ever present obsession.

I just can't get enough of RuPaul and all of her Drag Racers. The transformation from boy/man to stunning glamazon! Amazing!

Weekly Obsession: Fringe

The Hubs and I have recently discovered this awesome gem of a tv show on netflix. We have been watching about 8 - 10 episodes a week. I just love Walter and his comments.

Peter: Are you okay? Did you take something?

Walter: Psychedelics? No, not since Thursday, no. 


Peter: I tried to expense a couple of Celtic tickets on the FBI--she caught me. 
Walter: Oh, I see. I hope she doesn't notice the $2,000 for the baboon seminal fluid I ordered. I hope I can recall why I ordered it.

Astrid: So this thing has the claws of a lion and the fangs of a snake?

Walter: It reminds me of a woman I once knew in Cleveland.

Peter: Walter, these punctures are over four inches apart. And that would make this snake eight-feet long.

Walter: Her name was Harriet something.

Olivia: How is everything?

Peter: Well, apparently you're looking for a lion-snake named Harriet.

 And the great thing is we don't have to wait for the next episode. Plus, I tend to get bored with tv shows easily. But so far, this show is amazing!!!!

Saturday Night Live

So I've been keeping up with Saturday Night Live this season and there have been a lot of hits and misses. Well I have to admit this last epsiode had some major hilarity in it. I couldn't stop laughing at the Legend of Mokiki. It just reminds me of all the stupid dance crazes that have hit lately and it just revels in it's idiocy and lameness.



And how awesome was Anne's monologue...well singolouge rather.



Though I'm missing Stefan. Every time Weekend Update comes on, I eagerly anticipate a Stefan appearance.



Of course, my favorite is the names of the places and when Bill Hader starts laughing and is trying to cover it up. Who's with me on the Stefan thing. LOVE HIM!!!

White Zinfandel and Posting

Okay, I decided to take it easy last night. I made dinner and then kicked back, surfed the net, watched American Pickers and Pawn Stars (great shows). And didn't post here. So, to my regular readers. I apologize. But I really needed to break.

I am so excited one of my favorite shows is back for Season 2! Yep, RuPaul's back to find America's Next Drag Superstar.

I love this show. It's like (America's Next Top Model + Project Runway) dipped in Drag = RuPaul's Drag Race.

LOVE IT!!!

You can watch the entire first season or the second season on Tuesdays (after Monday's viewing on TV)

At least check out a promo or two. It's a blast to watch. Especially to see all the transformations. You get to see each contestant in and out of drag. So to see these men become beautiful women is amazing! Just goes to show how much they want this, since they put so much time into looking FABULOUUUUS!
